Yoshi's Island is an all-new platformer starring Yoshi and his friends! A mysterious floating island has suddenly appeared over Yoshi's peaceful home. Soon after its arrival, a gaggle of kids vanishes from the island school. Thankfully, Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Baby Donkey Kong and Baby Wario manage to avoid being kidnapped. Now, Yoshi and the four young superstars must set out on a wild and colorful quest to rescue the kids and investigate the ominous island hovering overhead. Thanks to the power of Nintendo DS, all of the lush vistas and perilous paths of Yoshi's Island span two screens.

This game brings new music and sounds in. Rool, and Wario as Infants and get to use them. I love their special abilities and the levels are well done. A beautiful game with a new story. This a well worth game for anyone. If you want to continue the story play this.This game introduces new fun levels and fun characters. The story of this is set after the original Yoshi's Island game for the Gameboy and SNES. You get to see Peach, DK, K.
But overall this game was decent and great for all those who are looking for a challenge. If you are up for a challenge go for it, you will have some fun because this is not easy. They also took some of the elements out that made yoshi's island so much fin in the past (eating fruit, and getting powers from it). This is a great game, its simple, easy to play, the controls are great but that means nothing when you want to throw your DS against the wall. The graphics are great for a DS game and are extremely vibrant and colorful. But once you get to the later parts in world 4-3, the game starts to get extremely difficult. This game starts off simple and easy, and very playable. I have been playing platform games since I was a kid, so I have some experience in playing some of these games, but this one was just too tough (went though 45 lives on one level).
